3 held for felling govt trees

Forest officials arrested three youths for their alleged involvement in felling and taking government trees near the Monu River in Raysri area under Sadar upazila of the district on Tuesday. The arrestees are Bishwajit Deb, 30, son of Rashan Chandra Deb of Dhansri village, Jahir Miah, 26, son of Rahman Miah of Raysri village, and his younger brother Ajim Uddin, 20. Moulvibazar Forest officer Firoz Alam confirmed the incident.
