3 go missing in Bay at Sitakundu

Three persons went missing in the Bay of Bengal at Chittagong’s Sitakundu upazila today.

Local fire fighters were trying to rescue them, our correspondent last reported around 4:30pm quoting Wasi Azad, station officer of Sitakundu Fire Service and Civil Defence.

Identities of those missing could not be ascertained immediately.

Earlier, on June 21, two people went missing from the same sea beach in the area. Rescue team recovered the missing persons’ bodies from the sea after 24 hours of the incident.
