3 of a family killed in Comilla road crash

Three members of a family were killed in a road crash on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Daudkandi upazila of Comilla today.

The deceased were identified as Selina Akhter, 28, wife of Mofiz Mia from Purbapennai village of Daudkandi, her son Junaet, 3, and elder sister Nasrin Akhter, 40, our local correspondent reports quoting police.

A private car hit them in Raipur area around 2:30pm leaving the three pedestrians dead on the spot, said Sub-Inspector Md Iranul Islam of Daudkandi Highway Police Station.
