3 die as truck hits rickshaw in Comilla

Three people including a woman were killed as a truck rammed a rickshaw in front of the upazila health complex in Chouddagram upazila of Comilla this morning.

The identities of the deceased could not be ascertained yet.

Mahfuz Ahmed, inspector (Investigation) of Chouddagram Police Station, said the Chittagong-bound truck from Dhaka smashed the oncoming rickshaw in the area around 10:30am.

Three passengers of the rickshaw died on the spot, the inspector said.
