20 hurt in clash

At least 20 people were injured in a clash between two rival groups at Kalichanna village in Sadar upazila on Monday. Police and locals said there was a longstanding conflict between one Mojibur Mridha and Jamal Khan over establishing supremacy in the area. As a sequel to the conflict, the supporters of the two attacked each other with lethal weapons, leaving 20 from both sides injured on Monday morning, said SM Ziaul Haque, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.
