2 arms factories busted in Cox’s Bazar, 7 held

Rapid Action Battalion, in an overnight drive, unearthed two arms factories in Chakaria upazila of Cox’s Bazar and detained seven people along with huge amounts of ammunition, firearms and firearms manufacturing equipment.

Acting on secret information, a team of Rab-7 conducted the drive that started during the wee hours of today in Boripukur area of Charandeep, our Cox’s Bazar correspondent reports quoting Major Mahmud Hassan, in-charge of the Rab-7 camp in the district.

A press briefing will be held in this regard later in the day.
