President Abdul Hamid to address first JS session of 2021

President Abdul Hamid is scheduled to deliver his speech in the 11th session of the 11th parliament commencing tomorrow which will also be the first session of the new year.

According to the Constitution, the President will deliver the speech at the maiden session of 2021.

Earlier on December 30, the head of the state convened the first parliament session of 2021 exercising the power bestowed upon him as per the Article 72 (1) of the Constitution.

The President's speech has already been approved in the cabinet.

The success and future plans, including the development activities of Awami League government, will be prioritised in his address, sources at Bangabhaban said.

This session may last for 10 to 12 working days.
