150 bullets seized at Sylhet airport

Customs officials detained a man and seized 150 bullets from his possession at Osmani International Airport in Sylhet city today.

Abdus Shobur, hailing from Mathura village under Bianibazar upazila, boarded off Bangladesh Biman flight BG 002 from England at 9:30am, said Khairul Basher, assistant commissioner of customs intelligence.

“He does not have any papers for carrying the bullets. He is being held at the airport jail,” the official added.
