1.35 lakh Yaba tablets recovered in Cox’s Bazar

Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard seized 1.35 lakh pieces of Yaba tablets from Keruntali area in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar early today.

Sources said a patrol team of the coast guard’s Teknaf station, led by Lt Nafiur Rahman, conducted a drive in the area and recovered 1.35 lakh pieces of the contraband tablets around 2.30am.

However, no one was arrested as the peddlers fled the scene sensing the presence of the law enforcers.
