10,000 freedom fighters to get 5yrs Indian multiple visas

-5yrs-multiple entry visas to 10,000 FFs

-Free medical treatment to 10,000 FFs

-Scholarship for 10,000 more children of FFs in India 

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi today announced that his government will issue the five-year multiple entry visas to 10,000 freedom fighters of Bangladesh’s Liberation War.

He also assured of providing free medical treatment for 10 thousand freedom fighters in India.

Modi was speaking at a function at Manekshaw Convention Centre at Delhi Cantonment to honour 1661 Indian soldiers, who sacrificed their lives during the 1971 Liberation War. Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was present there.

He also announced scholarship  for 10 thousand more children of Bangladeshi freedom fighters in India raising the total number of this facility to 20,000.
