10 Rocket launchers recovered from Habiganj forest

Rapid Action Battalion today recovered 10 rocket launchers and other firearms from a remote forest in Chunarughat upazila of Habiganj.

Tipped off, a team of Rab-9 launched a drive in the Satchhari National Park last night and another team of the elite force from Dhaka joined the drive later, Mufti Mahmud Khan, director of Rab’s Legal and Media Wing, told reporters after the operation that ended this afternoon.

During the drive, Rab members discovered a bunker inside the park and recovered 10 rocket launchers and other firearms, reports our Moulvibazar correspondent quoting Mahmud Khan.

Any terrorist group might have kept the arms, the Rab official said.
