10 more returning home from Yemen

A total of 10 more Bangladeshis who were stranded in war-torn Yemen are due to arrive in Dhaka from Djibouti this evening.

They will land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on a Flight Dubai plane at 6:45pm, Foreign Secretary Md Shahidul Haque said at a press conference this afternoon.

He also said that 56 more stranded Bangladeshis in Yemen have reached Djibouti boarding an Indian Navy ship.

Till now a total of 360 Bangladeshis, 340 by Indian Navy ship and 20 by Air India flight, have reached Djibouti from Yemen, he added.

Earlier yesterday, 11 Bangladeshis, who had taken shelter in Djibouti after being evacuated from war-torn Yemen, reached home.

Additional Foreign Secretary Mizanur Rahman received them after they landed in Dhaka.
