Ctg doctor dies from Covid-19

A doctor of Jemison Red Crescent Maternity Hospital in Chattogram died from a Covid-19 infection early today morning.

The deceased, Dr Sadekur Rahman, breathed his last at Agrabad Maa-O-Shishu General Hospital at around 4:40am today, Dr Shafiul Azam, vice-president of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) and also the chairman of Jemison Red Crescent Maternity Hospital, confirmed to The Daily Star today.

Dr Shafiul said Sadekul had a comorbidity problem.

With him, a total of 31 doctors have so far died from coronavirus infections across the country.
