DU Pro-VC tests Covid-19 positive a month after getting 1st dose of vaccine

Dhaka University's Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education) Prof Dr ASM Maksud Kamal has tested positive for coronavirus, one month after taking the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.

Prof Maksud Kamal confirmed the development to our DU correspondent this afternoon.

He tested Covid-19 positive yesterday. Since then, he is isolating at his residence on the campus.

Prof Maksud took the first vaccine shot on February 7, he said.
