PALESTINE ISSUE

The parliament today also expressed its condolences over the Palestinians killed in the recent Israeli airstrikes.

Strongly condemning the massacre by Israel, Hasina while participating on the obituary motion expressed her criticism on the killings of Palestinian people one after another by Israel.

"They had also carried out such killings before. Young children are being injured--oppression were carried out on them. Losing parents is really sad."

PM questioned why different international organisations who used to talk so much about humanity, remained silence over this issue.

Explaining Bangladesh's position on the Palestinian issue, Sheikh Hasina said, "We are always with the brothers of Palestine. We have cooperated with them in the past. We will definitely continue this cooperation. I strongly condemn this heinous attack by Israel," added Hasina.

Deputy Leader of the Opposition GM Quader, Law Minister Anisul Haq, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan, Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan, Opposition Chief Whip Moshiur Rahman Ranga, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal President Hasanul Haque Inu, Jatiya Party MP Kazi Firoz Rashid, AL MPs Ali Ashraf, among others, also spoke on the condolence motion.
