35 lower court judges, 85 staff recover from Covid-19

A total of 35 lower court judges and 83 staff members of courts across the country have so far recovered after being diagnosed with Covid-19, a law ministry press release said today.

According to it, 268 court staffers, including 51 judges and 217 staffers, across the country have been infected with coronavirus.

Of the infected judges, Md Ferdous Ahmed, judge of Lalmonirhat Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal, and two other court staffers, died of Covid-19.

The others judges and employees are being treated at home, the release said.
