Cop, 3 held with illegal pistol in Uttara

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members arrested four people including a law enforcer and seized a firearm and ammunition from their procession at Sector-6 of Uttara in Dhaka this afternoon.
Acting on a tip-off a team of Rab conducted a raid at road no. 2 in the area and arrested Asaduzzaman, sub-inspector of Special Branch (SB) of police, Saiful Islam, Mahmudul Hasan Apu and Mashiur Rahman, Lt Col Tuhin Mohammad Masud, commanding officer of Rab-1, told The Daily Star this evening.
The arrested law enforcer along with the men was waiting for buyers of arms in the area, the Rab official said after a primary interrogation.
