CMP gets 13 motorcycles to boost 999 services

The Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) received 13 brand new motorcycles today to boost the emergency 999 service and beat policing activities.

Thirteen different institutions and organisations donated the motorbikes to the North Division of CMP at a programme, our Chattogram staff correspondent reports.

CMP Commissioner Saleh Mohammed Tanvir received the motorbikes' keys at Panchlaish Police Station.

Deputy Commissioner (North) of CMP Bijoy Basak said, "Police are fighting to provide their best after getting emergency 999 calls. With the support, police will be more active in curbing crimes."
