Youth held for giving proxy in RU admission test

A youth was held for giving proxy for an applicant on the first day of the admission test of Rajshahi University yesterday.

Robiul Islam, 22, son of Sirajul Islam, of Chandra area of Jamalpur, was detained at the Second Science Building while he was sitting the exam for applicant Abdul Motin in the E unit test, said Motihar police.

RU Proctor Prof M Lutfor Rahman said invigilators held him as the admit card he was carrying had a different photo.

Police were interrogating Robiul when this report was filed around 7:00pm.
