Writ plea filed to stop JSC exam

A Supreme Court lawyer yesterday filed a petition with the High Court seeking its directive on the government not to hold Junior School Certificate (JSC) examination as a public examination from this year.

Eunus Ali Akond submitted the petition also praying to the HC to issue a rule upon the government to explain as to why its decision on July 15, 2010 to hold JSC examination as a public examination should not be declared illegal.
