Woman fatally run over by train

A woman was killed as a train ran her over in Nejampur area of Nachole upazila in Chapainawabganj yesterday.

The deceased is Bobita Begum, 22, wife of Sohel Rana of Nejampur Station Para in the upazila.

Akbar Ali, officer-in-charge (OC) of Rajshahi Railway Police Station, said a local train crushed Bobita while she was trying to save her goat from the train around 10:30am.
