'Wife' kills man over dispute

A 55-year-old rickshaw-puller was allegedly killed by his wife over a family dispute in the capital's Badda area yesterday.

Fazlu Mia, 55, a resident of Adarsha Nagar, was brought dead to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital around 9:40am, police said.

Police detained Chandrabahar, 45, one of the three wives of the victim, said OC Abdul Jalil of Badda Police Station.

Fazlu's “bad behaviour” might have prompted her to commit the crime, the OC said.
