War crimes proof of 3 Netrokona ‘Razakars’ found

The investigation agency of International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) today said it found evidence of war crimes against three “Razakars” of Netrakona district.

Hedayet Ullah Anju, 80, and his brother Enayet Ullah Manju, 70, and Sohrab Fakir, 88, of Atpara upazila were allegedly involved in genocide, killing, abduction, torture, looting and arson, the agency stated at a press conference at its Dhanmondi office in the capital this morning.

Abdul Hannan Khan and Sanaul Huq, coordinator and co-coordinator of the ICT investigation agency, addressed the press briefing.

The trio was alleged members of Razakar bahini in the district. An investigation report of the case and other documents will be sent to the chief prosecutor’s office today.

Sohrab is now in jail while the two brothers are on the run, he added.
