UODA declares scholarship in honour of language martyrs

In honour of the Language Movement martyrs, the authorities of University of Development Alternative (UODA) have created an opportunity for five students in each semester to get full free scholarship.

The declaration came from Prof Mujib Khan, founder of the university and its trustee board chairman, at a press conference in its auditorium in the capital's Dhanmondi yesterday, says a press release.

Under the scholarship, the selected students of law, communication and media studies, music, fine arts, BBA, and politics and development can study in Bangla or English, he said.

VC Dr Rafiqul Islam Sharif, syndicate member Prof Biswajit Ghosh, Registrar Dr Iffat Chowdhory, deans and chairmen of different departments and high officials of UODA were present.
