UNDP lauds success in protecting ozone layer

UNDP acting country director Koyko Yoksosui yesterday appreciated Bangladesh's success in protecting the ozone layer through proper implementation of the Montreal Protocol.

She praised Bangladesh's efforts while addressing a discussion at Ban Bhaban in the capital, marking World Ozone Day with Environment and Forests Ministry Secretary Istiaque Ahmad in the chair.

Environment and  Forests Minister Anwar Hossain Manju addressed the discussion as the chief guest.
