Ukranian consul Sobhan resigns

Ahmed Akbar Sobhan, chairman of Bashundhara Group and honorary consul of Ukraine in Dhaka, has resigned from the post due to health conditions, said a press release yesterday.

On May 20 this year, he submitted his resignation to the Ukrainian authorities which was accepted later on.

He served as the Ukranian Consulate in Dhaka for more than 13 years, the release added.
