UGC boss arrives in Rangamati today

University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh Chairman Prof Abdul Mannan will arrive in Rangamati today on a three-day visit.

On the first day, he will place wreaths at the grave of Bir Shreshtha Munsi Abdur Rouf, said a press release.

Prof Dr Pradanendu Bikash Chakma, vice chancellor of Rangamati Science and Technology University (RMSTU) will accompany him.

Prof Mannan will address a “Land Transfer” programme arranged by RMSTU as the chief guest. He will attend a cultural programme of the university.

It is scheduled to be held at 7:00pm tomorrow, the release added.
