Two 'robbers' held with firearms

Police arrested two alleged robbers with firearms at a market in Banshkhali upazila of Chittagong early yesterday.

Seven light guns were seized from Umar Madu alias Maidda, 35, and Mohammed Ali, 50, at Saral Bazar, said Mohiuddin Sohel, an additional superintendent of police.

The duo are also accused in several cases filed with different police stations for committing robbery and murder.
