Two more Rohingyas held with Yaba pills

Two more Rohingyas were arrested with 1,500 Yaba pills, worth Tk 4.50 lakh, in Sonaichari of Chittagong’s Sitakunda on Tuesday.

The duo, Md Elias, 29, and Omar Foysal, 18, entered Bangladesh in 2008, said highway police at Baro Awlia.

Of them, Elias is a registered refugee, said police.

On information, highway police arrested the two from a Dhaka-bound bus of Shyamoli Paribahan on Dhaka- Chittagong Highway with the contraband pills hidden inside their rectums.

A case was filed.
