Two men crushed under trains in Natore

Two persons were killed as trains ran them over in different incidents in Natore yesterday. One of the deceased was Gopal Chandra Saha, 50, assistant teacher of Damdama Govt School of Singra upazila.

Gopal might have committed suicide by jumping before Rajshahi-bound Uttara Mail at Natore railway station, suspected police as he was seen on an adjacent rail tracks before the rain arrived.  He was depressed about his asthma, police added.

Meanwhile, in Mahishmari bridge area near Madhnagar railway station, a man was found dead on rail tracks in Naldanga upazila. Identity of the deceased cou;d not be known immediately, said police.
