Two die from electrocution in Dhamrai

Two men died from electrocution in Swarnali village of Dhamrai upazila in Dhaka yesterday.

The deceased are poultry farm owner Tutol Mia, 22, and his worker Monir Hossen, 18.

Police said the duo came in contact with an electrified fence while they were working at the poultry farm around 1:00pm.

Rizaul Haque, officer-in-charge of Dhamrai Police Station, said the metal fences demarcating the entire farm are often electrified to save the poultry birds from wild animals.
