Training on investigative reporting starts in Barisal

A three-day training workshop on investigative reporting for journalists started in Zila Parishad auditorium in Barisal city yesterday.

The Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) organised the workshop in association with Barisal Reporters Unity (BRU).

Thirty-five local journalists, from print and electronic media, took part, while Anowara Begum, director, training, PIB, was chief guest. Dr Prodip Kumar Pande, chairperson of the mass communication and journalism department of Rajshahi University, was the resource person.
