Car crashes into Raju Memorial at DU

A car crashed into Raju Memorial sculpture at Dhaka University campus early this morning.

The sculpture itself was not damaged, but the iron fencing around it was dismantled as the Toyota Premio was driven onto the base, our campus correspondent reports.

Witnesses said a woman was driving the car. She lost control over the steering and drove straight on to the sculpture base.
