Titumir College JCD president, secy among 5 held with cocktails

Police today arrested five Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) men of Government Titumir College unit including its president and secretary with seven cocktails in Dhaka.

They were arrested from Wireless Gate area in Mohakhali around 5:45pm along with the cocktails and three motorcycles, Wahiduzzaman, inspector (investigation) of Banani Police Station, told The Daily Star.

The arrestees were identified as JCD President Taslim Ahsan Masu, General Secretary Aminul Haque Himel, Senior Vice President Noor Alam Russell, Masud Rana and Saiful Islam Faisal, students of the college.

Acting on a tip-off, police arrested them when they were taking preparation to create anarchy in the area, the police official said.
