Three shops gutted in Ctg

Fire gutted valuables of three shops at Mohara in Chandgaon area of Chittagong city early yesterday. The fire originated from an electric short circuit at a shop in Kaderi Market, soon spread to the adjacent shops around 12:20am, said Jasim Uddin, deputy assistant director of Agrabad Fire Service and Civil Defence.

On information, firefighters rushed there and doused the blaze after an hour.
