Three of a family found dead

Three members of a family were found dead in their house in Gazipur city's Hyderabad area yesterday.

The body of Kamal Hossain, 40, was hanging from the ceiling while the throats of his wife Nazma Begum, 35, and 19-year-old daughter Rimi were found slit, said police.

The bodies of the woman and her daughter bore marks of injuries, they said.

Mohammad Harunur Rashid, superintendent of police in Gazipur, said Kamal might have killed his wife and daughter and later hanged himself.
