Thai Princess Sirindhorn due today

Thailand's Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn arrives today on a four-day royal visit at the invitation of Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali.

The princess will lead an 11-member delegation to visit philanthropic projects she set up in Bangladesh in 2011 under her father, late King Bhumibol's Royal Chaipattana Foundation.

State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam will receive her at Dhaka airport on her arrival in the afternoon.

During her visit, Sirindhorn is scheduled to call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali.
