Teenager held with yaba pills

Officials of Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) yesterday arrested a 14-year-old boy with 930 yaba pills in Jail Road area under Kotwali Police Station in port city.

Upon information, a DNC team conducted a drive and arrested him, said Tapan Kanti Sharma, inspector of Panchlaish Circle. The boy, who hails from Teknaf, used to work as a drug carrier, the inspector claimed.

A case was filed.
