Teacher killed in road accident

A school teacher was killed in a road accident in Bhola Bazar area under Manda upazila of Naogaon yesterday.

Kajol Kumar, 35, of Bharsho village was an assistant teacher of Moinam High School in the upazila.

Anisur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Manda Police Station, said the accident occurred around 9:00am when a Rajshahi-bound passenger bus from Naogaon town hit Kajol's motorcycle, leaving him seriously injured.

Locals rushed him to Manda upazila health complex where doctors declared him dead.
