Sust teachers submit memo to VC seeking his resignation

A section of teachers of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology yesterday submitted a memorandum to its Vice Chancellor Prof Aminul Haque Bhuiyan demanding

 his resignation over “corruption”.

Under the banner of “Mohan Muktijuddher Chetonay Udbuddho Shikkhakbrinda”, the teachers staged a sit-in on the campus.

The association's President Prof Shamsul Alam said they would continue their demonstration until the demand was met.

The VC, who continuously denied the allegation, said if the chancellor asked him to resign he would do so.
