Sujan president, Shamim GS of Juja

Moudud Ahmmed Sujan of the Daily Sun and Shamim Kabir of the Daily Observer were elected president and general secretary respectively of Jahangirnagar University Journalists' Association (Juja) for this year.

A nine-member executive body was also formed. Other office bearers are: Vice-President Ariful Islam Nehal of Samakal, Joint-Secretary Saiful Islam of New Age, Treasurer Niloy Mamun of Ittefaq and Office and Publication Secretary Nur Alam Himel of banglanews24.com

The Daily Star correspondent Asaduz Zaman, Manabzamin's Hasan al Mahmud, and Protidiner Sangbad's Touhidul Islam were elected executive members.
