State minister for CHT affairs visits flood victims in Bandarban

State Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing yesterday visited Bandarban to see the distribution of UKaid's financial support for the extreme poor communities to recover from recent flood, says a press release.

The EEP/Shiree project, under the Rural Development and Cooperatives Division, is arranging to distribute cash grants which are being made by its partner NGOs, Caritas, Green Hill and Hellen Keller International.

The Department for International Development of the UK and Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC) are collaborating on the project.
