SSC candidate killed in Khulna
Four teenagers held
Police yesterday arrested four teenagers in connection with the murder on an SSC candidate in Chanmari village under Khulna Sadar upazila.
The arrestees are Raihan, 17, Rabby, 18, Abu Tayub alias Chotto, 18, Al Amin Roni alias Chotto Roni, 19.
Aynal Khandakar, the father of the deceased, filed a case with the Khulna Sadar Police Station accusing 10 persons.
Khalilur Rahman Siam, 16, a student of Rupsha High School was stabbed by some unidentified persons on Tuesday evening, following a row over a cricket match, said OC Mizanur Rahman of Khulna Sadar Police Station.
He succumbed to his injuries at Khulna Medical College Hospital, said police quoting his father.
"We have arrested four teenagers yesterday in this regard,” said the OC.
Siam's body has been handed over to his family after an autopsy.
