Smuggling hurting economy: SK Sinha

Chief Justice SK Sinha yesterday said smuggling was affecting the country's economy.

“Gold and dollars of the country are being smuggled out and Phensedyl and saris smuggled in. It is crippling the economy,” he told the inaugural ceremony of Brahmanbaria Zila Samity at the Krishibid Institution in the capital.

He said it hurt him that drugs were destroying the bordering Brahmanbaria district.
