Shibir activist arrested with firearm, ammo

An activist of Islami Chhatra Shibir was arrested with a firearm and ammunition from his Tulatuli residence in Satkania upazila of Chittagong on Wednesday night, said police.

A locally made gun and five bullets were seized from the possession of Kutub Uddin Shibly, 34, said Satkania Police Station Officer-in-Charge Iftekhar Hasan.

Shibly is an accused in 13 cases filed for subversive activities, said the OC.
