Sheikh Nazrul Islam

Sheikh Nazrul Islam, former superintendent engineer of the Bangladesh Council of Science and Industrial Research (BCSIR), died due to old-age complications on Tuesday, at age 78, says a press release.

He is survived by his wife, three daughters and two sons.

After graduating from the Bangladesh University of Science and Technology (Buet) in 1963, Nazrul joined BCSIR in 1977 as an executive engineer. He retired in 1996.
