Shakib ACC goodwill ambassador

Bangladesh cricket all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been appointed as the goodwill ambassador of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

The ACC signed a contract with Shakib at its headquarters in the capital in this regard yesterday, says a press release.

Shakib will get involved and promote ACC's different activities, including awareness programmes, to make people aware and united against corruption, said ACC Chairman Iqbal Mahmud at the contract signing ceremony.

Shakib is an inspiration for the youth. If youths and teenagers follow him, they will be able to perform their best in their respective fields, he added.

“I will feel contented, if a single person benefits or a single corruption is prevented due to my efforts,” he said.
