Seven more testify at Rangpur court

Seven more witnesses, including four forensic doctors of Rangpur Medical College Hospital, gave their testimonies at a Rangpur court yesterday in a case filed over the murder of Japanese national Kunio Hoshi.

They are the physicians -- Forendra Goswami, Robi Sanker Mondal, Narayhan Chandra Saha and Rafiqul Islam -- and the other three Jamshed Ali, Monju Mia and Motiar Rahman.

A total of 40 out of 57 witnesses testified in the case till yesterday, said Public Prosecutor Rothish Chandra Bhowmik.

Kunio Hoshi was shot dead at Aluwari village in Kaunia upazila of Rangpur on October 3, 2015.
