Seminar on women held

The American Center Dhaka organised a seminar titled “Women, Politics and Power” in Dhaka yesterday.

Katie Croake, chief of Party for Democracy International; Silja Paasilinna, Bangladesh chief of Party for the International Foundation for Electoral Systems; and Ambassador Nasim Firdaus, executive director of the Bangladesh Alliance for Women's Leadership, spoke at the seminar. University students, young political activists and women's rights leaders participated in the event.
