Scholastica joins 'One Billion Rising' campaign

Scholastica in collaboration with Plan International Bangladesh commemorated the global movement, “One Billion Rising”, to fight violence against women and girls, at the Scholastica Senior Section in Uttara of Dhaka on February 14, says a press release.

Kanika Maisha, youth advisory panel member, Institute of Business Administration, Dhaka University; and Faez Belal, youth advisory panel member and Joy Bangla Award winner, among others, spoke.

 “Solidarity Against the Exploitation of Women” is this year's theme of the movement launched on Valentine's Day in 2012.
